Huawei showed “smart” watches with built-in headphones

Huawei has introduced Watch Buds, the world’s first smart watch with built-in wireless headphones. In China, the cost of the novelty Huawei will be $430, the supply of Watch Buds to other markets has not yet been reported.

The accessory, made in a steel case, is equipped with a round 1.43-inch AMOLED display, which serves as a cover for the headphone compartment. Headphones weighing 4 g each are made in a cylindrical case, they are interchangeable: they do not have a division into right and left, automatically determining the position when installed in the user’s ear. The noise reduction system and long battery life are announced, but detailed characteristics are not disclosed.

For Watch Buds, support for more than 80 types of sports activities, control of the user’s physical activity and sleep monitoring due to built-in sensors are announced. The smart watch is based on the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system.
