An excellent Euroleague evening ended for him this evening (Friday) when the only game that did not end in a close fashion was that of Olympiakos, who beat Zalgiris and remained perfect in the Euroleague after two rounds. Tamir Blatt delivered his best game in the Euroleague in Elba Berlin’s 74:80 overtime victory over Milan in Italy. Baskonia and Partizan Belgrade also parted ways after overtime and the one who won the game for the Spaniards was Marcus Howard who excelled in Baskonia’s victory 96:103, also after overtime. Also in the last game of the night, Villervan came within one shot of Chris Jones from winning the game, but in the end surrendered 76:77 to Valencia, who recorded their first victory of the season.
Olympiakos – Zhelgiris Kovna 80:90
After shining in the opening round of the Euroleague with a big win in Barcelona, Olympiakos was not at her peak tonight (Friday), but even that was enough for her to beat the Lithuanian team without much difficulty in front of an empty hall in Piraeus. Sasha Vezenkov, the quality Bulgarian forward, stood out for the winner with 23 points and 14 rebounds, Mustafa Pal stood out under the baskets with 16 points and 5 rebounds.

A crazy game between Alba Berlin tonight (Friday) between Tamir Blatt and Yuval Sussman ended with the victory of the Germans after overtime, in which Tamir Blatt excelled with two three-pointers that determined the outcome of the game. Yuval Sussman did not shine but scored four points and added 4 rebounds to them.
Baskonia – Partizan Belgrade 96:103
The team of Jeliko Obradovic and Yam Madar met Basconia this evening (Friday) with the aim of achieving their first victory in the Euroleague this season and they started the first quarter with a storm and a nine advantage in their favor. The Spaniards woke up in the second quarter and after a first quarter of only 14 points, scored no less than 32 points that closed the gap that opened at the beginning of the game. The teams fought each other until the last minute when ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv, James Nunley, missed an opportunity to close the game and on the other hand, Marcus Howard scored a huge 3-pointer at the buzzer, which sent the game to overtime. In overtime, the Serbian team ran out of air and the Spaniards took advantage of this in order to end the extra time of the game with 14 points and as expected to win. The one who excelled in the Asconia uniform was Markuz Howard who finished a tremendous night of 28 points in 23 minutes and seven three-pointers, while on the other hand Kevin Panther and Zach Liddy scored 26 and 23 respectively. Yam Medar gave good minutes in the game but finished it with only one assist in 11 minutes.
Valencia – Villerban 76:77
Another close game in the wonderful Euroleague night it was. The Spaniards started the game with a storm and ended the first quarter with a promising double digit lead and with 27 points in their favor, but in the second quarter Ratin Obsohn’s team woke up and scored 26 points of their own, managing to tighten the defense. In the third quarter, the teams lowered the rate of shooting and the game became close. The teams fought until the last seconds of the game when Chris Jones almost decided the game from half court, but the ball went out of the ring and the French came away with the narrow victory. The ones who excelled in their ranks were Nanado de Colo who finished with 16 points and the huge Yussupa Pal who finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds. On the other hand, Chris Jones with 13 points and Jasiel Rivero with 15, almost led the Spaniards to their first victory of the season.
