The number of travelers to Qatar has increased significantly with the activation of international air traffic. According to a report by Forward Keys, an expert in travel data collection, Qatar has the second highest number of visitors to the Middle East after Kovid. Qatar has achieved 7% more growth than its predecessor, Kovid.
Additional bookings for international travelers to Qatar were recorded early in the second quarter of this year. This is better than the situation before Kovid, the report said. Most visitors to Qatar are from the UK and US.
In the Middle East, Egypt and the UAE lag behind Qatar in terms of passenger traffic. Although Kovid’s damage to global tourism is not over, hosting the World Cup has been a positive factor for Qatar.
