In life, Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy, made rivers of ink flow for the orgiastic parties organized in his Tudor-style mansion in Holmby Hills, one of the vertices of the golden triangle next to Bel Air and Beverly Hills, where bunnies participated along with celebrities of the caliber of Jack Nicholson, the Rolling Stones, Tony Curtis or Pamela Anderson.
Died at the age of 91 in 2017, his widow, Crystal Hefner, has published some succulent memoirs entitled Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy And Finding Myself in which she reveals unpublished data such as that the millionaire took so much Viagra that he went deaf. That was one of the main contraindications of the medication, “but Hugh always said that he preferred to be deaf and be able to continue having sex,” his third wife said in an interview with the Daily Mail.
When they met, she was 21 and he was 81. The editor was infatuated. They were three years of dating and five of married. Despite her huge age difference, the model, who appeared on the magazine’s centerfold as Miss December 2009 and on the July 2011 cover, went so far as to freeze her eggs to become a mother. That dream didn’t come true and today, at 37, while she lives in the little house in Hawaii, Crystal hopes to taste motherhood from her at some point.
