Australian actor Hugh Jackman has contracted the coronavirus, he announced this on his Instagram page.
“I wanted to make sure you hear about it from me. I tested positive for COVID, ”Jackman said.
The disease is mild, from symptoms he has a cold, a sore throat and a runny nose, the actor added. Jackman expressed the hope that he will be able to return to work in the near future.

Jackman is 53 years old. During his career, he has appeared in more than 40 films. One of the most famous was the role of the mutant Wolverine in the X-Men film series. For his role in the first part of X-Men, he won the Saturn Award for Best Actor in 2001, and in 2013 he also won the Golden Globe for Les Miserables, where he played Jean Valjean.
In 2013, Jackman revealed that he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
