With the aim of supporting the economy of families affected by the landslides recorded in recent weeks, the municipal president, Romina Contreras Carrascodelivered construction materials, appliances, food supplies and supplies for cleaning, removing dirt and debris in homes, among other actions, to more than 190 victims from the communities of Magdalena Chichicaspa and Zacamulpa.
Meeting with neighbors affected by the landslidesthe municipal president, Romina Contreras Carrasco, pointed out that, through the combined efforts of various areas such as the general directorates of Social Development and Infrastructure and Constructionthe Civil Protection Coordination and the Sistema Municipal DIF Huixquilucanamong others, work continues to protect the population and address the damage caused by the rains in the territory.
“We are on the lookout 24/7 for the Huixquilucanses who live in the areas affected by the landslides, serving them in real time and providing solutions through the aforementioned areas. Also, from the Command Center “Conditions are monitored in real time. They know that we are a government that supports and is present and, above all, helps and delivers results,” said the municipal president.
Later, Romina Contreras supervised the work being carried out on the road. Zacamulpa-Cuajimalpaafter the landslide that occurred due to the presence of heavy rains, with the purpose of continuing work in the area and restoring the possible conditions in the shortest possible time.
For its part, Antonia Santiago Perezfrom the community of Magdalena Chichicaspa, thanked the municipal president for the support he received from the first moment the damage was recorded, to recover his property for the benefit of his family.
“She has shown us that she is a woman of actions and not words. We are grateful for this support that will help us to resume our daily lives today and, in Huixquilucan, we know that we can count on your support, thank you on behalf of all those affected,” he said.
