In order to aid the economy of the residents of the municipality of Huixquilucan during the first half of 2024, the Government local distributed over 35,000 food packages through the medical-assistance days.
These events take place in the 49 communities that make up this demarcation.
In the community The Palace, the municipal president of Huixquilucan, Romina Contreras Carrasco, led one of these days, during which she emphasized that the goal of such campaigns is to bring mobile units closer to the population, allowing them to receive medical attention for any ailment. These units offer both medical services and dental care.
“These days have been a success because we offer two services to the population: general consultations through the medical units, and in case of identifying a minor illness, referrals to our medical facilities. Additionally, we provide them with the food support to assist families in need,” said Contreras.
