University of Georgia: maximum human life expectancy will increase to 150 years

The maximum life expectancy of people by 2060 will be 150 years, while the current record is 122 years. This was stated by biologists from the University of Georgia.

In the course of a statistical study, the authors of the publication in the journal PLOS ONE studied people aged 50 to 100 years and came to the conclusion that some representatives of these generations will live longer than anyone born before 1900.

Previously, some biologists have suggested that progress moderately increases maximum lifespan, but greatly increases average lifespan.
