The mother of the regime’s spokesperson, Humberto López, was expelled from her job in Matanzas for alleged corruption, according to complaints.
The mother of the well-known official presenter, Lient Suárez, would have been systematically stealing sugar and alcohol from her workplace for an indefinite period.
The woman allegedly embezzled 400,000 Cuban pesos (CUP) from the company.
Although Humberto López is a strong critic of corrupt acts on Cuban television, the mother did exactly that, sold and hoarded products, just as many do on the island, in an attempt to survive in the midst of scarcity and poverty.
As leaked on the YouTube channel Darwin’s WorldSuárez and her husband, were behind this plot and the two were exposed during an internal control carried out by the director of commerce and gastronomy in Colón, Mijail Ordoñez Figueroa.
While López was broadcasting one of his programs to discredit activists and blame Cubans for violence and corruption, his mother was involved in illicit activities that contrast deeply with the message of her son, who in addition to being a presenter is a member of the Committee Central of the Communist Party.
“Mrs. Lient Suárez is a thief, swindler, corrupt, blackmailer. I ask all of you to please share and send us the information so we can corroborate this story that is in progress a little more,” Santana stated.
This is not the first time that the Youtuber exposes Humberto López’s mother, since some time ago the young man said that she once tried to illegally appropriate a home belonging to López’s aunt.
