Police reprimanded and sent home 30 young women who danced obscenely while drunk in a private hotel in Chennai.
In Chennai, the restriction is that no alcohol party can be held in bars after 10 pm. There is currently a ban on conducting dance programs in hotels and bars. But in some places in Chennai, private hotels with bar facilities continue to defy the ban and hold alcohol parties and obscene dance programs. The police received tip-off that women were dancing obscenely and punching in the middle of the night along with alcoholic parties in a private hotel with bar facilities on General Pettai Road in Rayapetta, adjacent to Annasalai, Chennai.
Taking this, the police raided the hostel. There were more than 30 young women dancing with their boyfriends. In a drunken stupor, the women danced obscenely in half-clothes and threw punches. After that, the police warned the intoxicated teenagers and wrote down the addresses and mobile phones of 30 teenagers and sent them home. The police have arrested the owner and manager of the private hotel who organized the party. This incident has generated a chaos in that area.
