Many demonstrations took place today (Thursday) across Russia, attended by thousands of people who came out shouting for war in Ukraine.
Due to the demonstrations, it was reported that 852 people were arrested in a variety of demonstrations held in 44 cities in Russia. Some of the detainees encountered severe violence by the Russian police.
