In the Umma buildings, an event was held this evening (Sunday) honoring and saluting the chairman of the Bnei Akiva Yeshivot and Studio Center and the elder of the religious Zionist rabbis, Rabbi Haim Druckman.

The evening was moderated by the journalist Eliashiv Reichner and the journalist Sarah Beck. Singer and composer Shuli Rand told of the great excitement he felt when he was asked to sing in honor of the rabbi and shared that the rabbi had always showered him with affection. In addition, Aharon Razel also appeared and, among other things, speeches were given by Elhanan Galt, CEO of the network, and Vigal Klein, Secretary General of the Youth Movement.

President Yitzhak Herzog sent a congratulatory video (attached to the announcement) in which he thanked Rabbi Druckman for his great contribution to the world of education and bringing hearts together in the people of Israel.

When Rabbi Druckman was invited to the stage when he was in a wheelchair and moved by the great love, many got up to sing in his honor and dance.

Rabbi Druckman acknowledged the privilege “to live in a generation of redemption” and added that he had been given the gift “to influence the future generation of the people of Israel.” In addition, he thanked for the partnership along the way with many and varied people.
