Hundreds of people paid their final respects to former member of British boy band The Wanted, Tom Parker, on Wednesday.

The funeral service for Parker, who died of cancer in March at the age of 33, was held in a small circle in Petts Wood, in Greater London, the PA news agency reported. The coffin was then taken to its final resting place in a carriage drawn by three black horses. Hundreds of fans and acquaintances of the singer joined the funeral procession.

Parker had an inoperable brain tumor. Despite the illness, he had performed with his four bandmates on a reunion tour until the end. According to the PA report, his wife Kelsey recognized him as a soul mate at the funeral service. She described the day of her wedding to Parker as the “best day” of her life.
