“Hunger Games 5” gets a final epic trailer before its cinema release

“Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird” unveils a final trailer a few weeks before its cinema release.

Prepare to go back down into the arena. “Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird“, the fifth part of the successful saga, unveiled a final trailer on September 20, 2023. Enough to wait one last time before discovering the film in the cinema: the feature film directed by Francis Lawrence is expected in theaters French on September 15, 2023.

These new images allow you to learn more about this new adaptation of the work of Suzanne Collins. Here, it is not new adventures of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) that fans will discover, since it is a prequel to the original work.

Fans will follow young Coriolanus Snow, who becomes the mentor of Lucy Gray Baird, tribe of District 12, for the tenth edition of the Hunger Games. While his family has fallen from grace, the young man sees the opportunity to change his destiny. But as we learn in the trailer, “his role is to transform these children into stage beasts, not survivors”. The trailer can be seen below.

This fifth opus of “Hunger Games” brings together a five-star cast that is very different from the previous films, since the plot takes place several years in the past. Coriolanus Snow, performed by Donald Sutherland in the first four films, is here played by Tom Blyth (“Billy the Kid”). Rachel Zegler, revealed in the “West Side Story” of Steven Spielberg, here lends her features to Lucy Gray Baird.
