Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says his squad is hungry for silverware and ready to win the 2024 UEFA Super Cup.
“We are hungry (for the title) and can’t wait to play the game,” said Ancelotti, quoted from Real Madrid’s official website, Wednesday (14/8).
The Italian tactician also emphasized that his squad is ready to realize their desire for the season-opening trophy.
Luka Modric and his teammates are said by Ancelotti to have excellent preparation and are ready to face the challenge.
“The team is in good shape even though we haven’t had much time to train. We are motivated for the game,” said Ancelotti.
The 65-year-old also praised Atalanta, their opponents in the 2024 UEFA Super Cup.
Atalanta, who are the 2023-2024 Europa League champions, Ancelotti said, deserve to compete for the UEFA Super Cup.
