Hyderabad: Case filed against music director Devi Sriprasad for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Hindus. Telugu actress and comedian Karate Kalyani has filed a complaint that her new music album ‘O Pari’ has hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
According to Karate Kalyani’s complaint, the music director used devotional songs in the song where women dance in vulgar clothes, which hurt Hindu sentiments. The complaint demands an unconditional apology from Devi Sri Prasad for the incident and the removal of the song ‘Krishna Hare, Rama Hare’ from the album.

Music director Devi Sri Prasad himself has sung and acted in the album released in Telugu as ‘O Pillai’. The song was released in various languages last October.
Cyber crime wing of Hyderabad City Police has registered a case on the complaint of Karate Kalyani. Cybercrime ACP KVM Prasad stated that a case has been registered against Devi Sriprasad under Section 153A of the IPC and an investigation has been initiated into the incident.
