According to the information, Sachin and his wife Manju, who live in Valmiki Basti of Jahangirabad Kotwali area, work on contract in the Nagar Palika. Late on Monday evening, the husband and wife had a quarrel. After which the husband attacked his wife with a blade. In which the wife died on the spot. There was chaos in the family on hearing the news of death.
It is being told that husband Sachin suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship with someone. Due to which she was murdered and husband Sachin himself reached the police station and told the whole story to the police. Police took the accused into custody. Now the police is investigating the case. Meanwhile, during police interrogation, accused Sachin told that he was married 15 years ago and he has three children.
Anupshahr jurisdictional authority informed that a person named Sachin killed his wife due to domestic strife. The accused has been taken into custody. Police is investigating the case. The body has been sent for postmortem. Both husband and wife used to work on contract in Nagar Palika.
