In this situation, he injured his same finger again while fielding in the match against Chennai Super Kings in Pune yesterday. Thus he did not throw the ball in that match.
Commenting on Washington Sunder’s injury, Hyderabad head coach Tom Moody said, “It is doubtful that Washington Sunder will play in the next match against Delhi (coming on the 5th) as he has to be sutured due to injury. One of our key bowlers, Washington Sunder, was unexpectedly unable to bowl in the match against Chennai.
