An American family traveling in the Golan Heights arrived at Ben Gurion Airport last night (Friday night) for a flight back to the United States, when a shell of one of the family’s children on a trip fell on her.
When they arrived to send the luggage, they revealed what had happened to the security staff at Ben Gurion Airport.
Since it was a shell fall, an evacuation of an audience from the object area was immediately announced, until the fear of a security incident was ruled out.
Frightened passengers were seen screaming in panic, lying on the floor and fleeing in all directions.
During the commotion created during the evacuation of the hysterical crowd, a 32-year-old Israeli passenger who got on the luggage conveyor belts ran on the conveyor belt, fell and was injured. He seeks medical treatment at the hospital.
The family whose kidney was found to have fallen off the shell was released at the end of the investigation into a flight to the United States.
The Airports Authority is continuing to investigate the case.
