Hyundai has launched an electric car to compete with Tesla, the world’s leading electric car company. Named Ioniq 6, this car has been launched in the South Korean capital, Seoul. It is expected to be priced around Rs 37 lakh.

According to Hyundai, this car is made with the facility of traveling a distance of 610 km on a single charge. While the Testa Model 3 has a range of just 602 km, the Ioniq 6 is designed to go 8 km more than that. Similarly, the Electrified Streamliner has been used to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in 5.1 seconds. With the help of a 350 kilowatt charger, it takes only 18 minutes to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent, according to Hyundai.

Hyundai has announced that it will continue to produce and introduce electric car models until 2030. The company also said that it plans to capture 12 percent of the world’s electric vehicle market.
