Hyundai presents tonight the Creta N Line Night Edition, a limited series of 900 numbered units of the compact crossover with exclusive look and aspirated 2.0 engine of 167hp. According to the brand, the intention is to further explore the N Line segment in the Creta 2023 line.

The car’s style brings some evolutions in relation to the Creta N Line presented last year. Several finishing elements gain appliqués in glossy black, wheels as well as the roof in a darkened color. Sold in a single version as year/model 2024 costs BRL 181,490.00.

Unlike the Creta N Line, which has a 1.0 Kappa engine, the N Line Night Edition explores competition with mid-range models for price positioning. It comes with a 2.0 Nu aspirated engine with 167hp and 20.6kgfm of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Based on the Creta N Line, it gains exclusive equipment such as premium Bose sound with a speaker in the central part, subwoofer in the trunk, in addition to speakers in the hills and in the doors and also a 200-watt amplifier and accessories such as sills alluding to the version.

“If we consider all versions of the HB20 and the Creta, the N Line of the Creta is the vehicle that spends less time at the dealership because it is a success”, says Rodolfo Stopa, product director at Hyundai.

The Creta N Line Night Edition comes in three colors: black, gray and silver and has a five-year warranty. The brand’s intention is clear: to compete for space with the Honda HR-V, also a compact crossover, but also to “pin” medium models like the Jeep Compass, leader of the segment.

Among the standard items, the Creta N Line Night Edition features a panoramic and electric glass sunroof, a 7″ colored digital panel in blue (which changes color according to the control of driving modes), a 10.25″ multimedia center with Bluelink, wireless charger for smartphones, Bluelink monitoring system with remote tracking and immobilization, Valet mode, Auto Hold electronic brake, digital air conditioning, vehicle diagnostics, among other functions.

10 years producing vehicles in Brazil

The brand celebrates 10 years of operation as “Hyundai Motor Brasil” (before, Hyundai was marketed only by the Caoa group) and there are already 1.7 million vehicles circulating in Brazil produced in Piracicaba/SP. Globally, Hyundai is the third largest automaker in the world with 4.9 million units sold in 2022.

“The car that started all this, the HB20, was reformulated with a lot of technology, safety and we also had the Creta with many changes, but we value the dealer who works with us, who serves the customer and reinforces confidence in our products”, says Airton Cusseau , Group CEO for Latin America.

“We are going to be providers of mobility solutions and we have three pillars (…) we bet a lot on hydrogen, a technology that is out there. We had oil, here we have ethanol and in the future we will have several propulsion technologies”, says Cusseau.

Hyundai already invests US$ 1.1 billion in the construction of two factories of hydrogen propulsion systems. Likewise, it works with Kia to develop new batteries with low use of lithium and over US$ 10 billion in investments in a factory in Georgia (USA), which will be ready in 2025.
