The Santa Fe, fifth generation, has a traditional hybrid infrastructure (not plug-in) that uses an electric motor and a compact battery (1.4 kWh) that helps reduce energy consumption in urban driving conditions and enables a controlled flow of electricity for a short distance. The maximum power of the system, based on a 1.6 L turbo engine, is 226 hp combined and 35 kg, connected to a standard six-speed automatic transmission (8-speed in the standard models), with the option of choosing between a front-wheel drive version to double
The acceleration time to 100 km/h takes 9 seconds, the maximum speed is 187 km/h and the average fuel consumption is around 14 km per liter, with slight differences to the duty of the 4×4 model in everything related to drinking habits.
The specifications are divided between the ‘Superim’ specification with front wheel drive and the ‘Elite’ specification with dual drive. The equipment includes an original 8-inch media system, a panoramic roof, split climate control, a fully digital dashboard, peripheral parking sensors and a host of state-of-the-art safety systems.
