But Manchester United superstar Marcus Rashford has come forward with his answer to the question of Messi or Ronaldo being the best player. The actor’s words about the GOAT debate in 2018 are now going viral on social media.
Rashford has said that he likes Ronaldo more than Messi, but Messi is the best player in football.
Rashford shared his views on Messi and Ronaldo in an interview with CNN.
“I would say Messi is the best player, some of the things he does on the pitch are impossible. I am a big fan of Ronaldo. But when asked who is the best player of all time, I would say Messi,’ said Rashford.
Messi has 707 goals and 336 assists in 866 matches throughout his career. In addition, Messi has won seven Ballon d’Or awards, four Champions League titles and 11 league titles.
Ronaldo has won five Champions League and Ballon d’Or awards each. He has also won league titles with Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, English star Rashford is performing well for Manchester United.
Manchester United are currently third in the league table with 50 points with 15 wins from 26 matches. The club’s next match is against Newcastle United on April 2.
