Actress Nilja KK Baby shares her experiences of acting in an anthology based on the short stories of MT Vasudevan Nair, which MT himself is writing for Netflix. The actor acted in the anthology film Katukennave directed by Ranjith and starring Mammootty.
Nilja said that she was lucky to be able to act in the film where MT, Mammootty and Ranjith come together and that she is acting as the daughter of Mammootty’s character in the film. Talking to 24 News, the actor added that the duration of the film is only thirty minutes and he is only acting in a small part of it.
‘I have completed that project of MT sir. It is an anthology of nine stories. I acted in Kadukennave directed by Ranjith sir. Mammooka is the hero in it. In that film, I performed as Cheriamma of Mammooka’s character in her youth.
In fact, it’s all big names. When we talk about MT sir’s story, Ranjith sir’s direction and Mammooka as the hero, we get a feeling. Kadukennavae only has thirty minutes. I am only in a very small part of it.
