“We are suspending effective protest actions, but we remain in protest readiness until the implementation of the agreements in the agreement. It has not yet been signed, it is expected to happen on Monday. I hope there will be no surprises. Regarding the colleagues who continue to protest, I am personally surprised”. This was stated by the chairman of the Thracian Union of Grain Producers Radoslav Hristov in the program “Offensive” on NOVA NEWS.
“Since they were with the prime minister yesterday and their representative did not express any contradiction there, why are we hearing it from the street today? We didn’t hear it there as motivation and arguments,” he said.
He also explained that the prime minister asked all representatives from sectors if there was a need to add anything to the agreement. “I didn’t hear any comments during the 1 hour and 30 minutes we were there,” the chairman explained.
“When you have several demands that were grouped into three points – the green deal, the legislative changes and the financial demands, you have to find a balance of what is most important. Not only me personally, but also many of my colleagues prioritize the green deal and legislative changes, rather than money,” stated Hristov emphatically.
