A commander exchange ceremony was held today (Thursday) in Hebron. Colonel Yishai Rosilio took over as commander of the “Judea” brigade, replacing Colonel Avichai Zafrani. The ceremony was presided over by the commander of the Central Command, Major General Yehuda Fox, the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Avi Ballut, commanders, soldiers, families and other guests.

Colonel Yishai Rosilio, married and a father of seven, was born in 1982 and enlisted in the 2002 Paratroopers Brigade. In the years 2017-2019 – served as the commander of the patrol battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade. During 2020-2022 – served as an officer in the Operations Division of the Judea and Samaria Division. Rosilio holds a bachelor’s degree in education and teaching, and a master’s degree in management and organization of education systems from Herzog College.
