Florian Sénéchal decided to put an end to his six-year cycle with Quick-Step, witnessing the evolution or change that the team has undergone, which went from being a reference in the classics to a contender for the general stage laps. “It was no longer necessarily the team that I liked, I abandoned the classics a bit. It’s a great school that toughened me up, but in the end I even became tougher than them, the staff and the runners. Maybe that was what went wrong,” said the 30-year-old runner.
In 2024 he will represent Arkéa, which, far from being what the ‘Wolfpack’ once was, will give him full freedom to shine in the races he likes most. “I want to win. Roubaix would be the best of the best, it is the one that suits me best, but we will have to assert ourselves in the Omloop. I will always want to be in the top 10.
