What is RA’s strategy regarding Artsakh‘s future, within the framework of your “There is a Future” programs, Seyran Ohanyan, head of the “I have an honor” faction, asked a question at the NA-government question-and-answer session.
He was interested in what connections there are with the leadership of Artsakh, what is being done to return the prisoners, particularly to the former leadership of Artsakh.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan mentioned that their strategy is to strengthen the statehood and sovereignty of RA. “We will continue on this path,” he said, adding that he is increasingly convinced that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue has been used for many years by some forces for the purpose of “not establishing a state in RA.”
“My problem is the future of the Republic of Armenia, and the framework of my powers is given by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia regarding the future of the Republic of Armenia, I am focused on that problem,” he said.
Pashinyan referred to the observations that the RA government remained indifferent to Artsakh, that they left Karabakh alone.
“I can evaluate such responses with one word: gratitude, I simply cannot use another word,” he said.
Speaking about the return of prisoners, Nikol Pashinyan noted that everything is being done for a possible return, daily work is being done.
