The actor further said, ‘Because the show Maayka that Shilpa and I did for one and a half years was a hit. And the big thing was that Shilpa is a good person, we got along very well. I have also said that she is a very amazing person. People misunderstand her at some places but till date… it has been 15 years, we have not met each other yet. She is very happy in her life and I am also happy in my life. But till date if anyone, like before, comes in interviews, in the media… if there is an actor, a common friend who comes to me and talks about Shilpa, then I stop them right there. I never gave it air because I do not want to hear anything bad about her from anyone. The decision that she took, she took the right decision and she is happy in her life, I am happy in mine. I think she is very intelligent, and she took the right decision at the right time.’
