The actor Gonzalo Valenzuela shared chilling details of an alleged drugging experience he endured at the hands of a suspicious app driver. In an interview, he explained how the encounter unfolded.
“We went to eat at one place and then went to another nearby place in Vitacura. We met several people there. I had a drink and started feeling rather strange.”
Faced with this unsettling feeling, Valenzuela decided to head home. While on the public road, a car offered to give him a ride.
“A car passed by and offered to give me a ride home. I didn’t have my phone with me because Kika (Silva) had accidentally taken it with her.”
After getting into the vehicle, the driver offered him water. Valenzuela recalls little of what happened next.
“After drinking the water, I don’t remember anything until I got home. I have no recollection of the journey.”
While the specific substance remains unknown, Valenzuela expressed his belief that he was drugged, citing the profound impact it had on his serotonin levels.
“I felt an extreme lack of serotonin. It was as if my body had none.”
The actor emphasized the terrifying potential consequences of such an experience, particularly for vulnerable individuals.
“It’s terrifying to think about what could have happened. What could have happened to anyone, especially women, young people, and children. It’s a terrifying state of vulnerability, feeling like you have no control over your actions.”
Valenzuela concluded by expressing his disbelief and caution, despite his relatively cautious nature.
“I’m 46 years old, I know how to take care of myself. I’ve always been careful, but something like this has never happened to me. I don’t trust anyone who asks for my card, and I certainly wasn’t in a state where I would simply give in and fall for something like this.”
