Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Gideon Saar today (Friday) held a zoom conversation with his activists, Tikva Hadasha. In the conversation, the minister tried to clarify the publications according to which he is in negotiations with the Likud party regarding the establishment of an alternative right-wing government for the Bennett Lapid government.

Regarding the direct negotiations with the Likud party, Saar said: “There are no negotiations with the Likud and no such thing has taken place. For over a year there have been incessant appeals to me and the faction members including a proposal for prime minister and I declined. All speculation is baseless. ‘

In addition, Saar referred to the conduct of the opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu and said: This conduct continues and even worsens. There will be no profit for those who vote against the Judea and Samaria Law.

Finally, the minister stated: “I do not intend to return to the Likud. I will continue to lead the new hope. Support for us is growing and surveys are also improving. “Our work is stronger than any other faction in the Knesset and the government.”
