“I fulfilled a dream”: Moshe Peretz launches his first song in Greek listen

by time news

The singer Moshe Peretz is launching a new song, entitled “From Thessaloniki to Lipo”, which he wrote and composed together with Avi Ohion. In the new single, for the first time Moshe sings in Greek and Hebrew in his own song, which manages to move and touch everyone. The new song conveys a feeling of love, freedom, a Mediterranean atmosphere, which is also conveyed in the beautiful music video directed and produced by Uzi George. In a conversation with Didi Harari on 103FM he told about the song.

What song. What happened? You decided to save on a Greek singer and you also sing Greek?
‘You know, I had a dream to sing in Greek so I took a writer from Athens, a writer who lives there and writes for many singers, and she taught me word for word. It was important to understand the meaning of the words. It soon rolled on my lips. It was difficult, but I understood that it sounded good, and I made a small dream come true. I wanted to do it, and it left me wanting more, people like to hear songs in Greek.”

The singer added: “The greatest pleasure is to see your children sing and dance. Take a step back from all the noise and ringing and you are in the family and it is simply a pleasure to see. They are part of my life, and I am part of theirs. You can also have fun together and live happily and also fulfill the music.” .

Have you been to Thessaloniki yet?
“Yes. I’ve been twice. I’ve also been to Athens. I travel twice a year. I’m sick of Athens.”

Don’t patronize us. Have you been to Jaffa?
“Sure. That’s where we shot the music video. We really did a street performance and you can see it in the music video. People walked around and saw and participated in the music video.”
