Erling Braut Haaland is at home in Bryne. And on Wednesday, the Manchester City star visited Café Jærbuen in the nearby village of Nærbø.
Here he did something that no one has done before, according to the owner of the cafe Jette Bjorland.
He ordered an additional portion of meatloaf, after finishing the first one.
He was Jærbladet who first mentioned the subject.
Haaland stood up to take a photo with the employees. According to the restaurant’s owner, they tend to let celebrities who eat at the restaurant relax.

– I have never experienced in 40 years that someone orders two portions of meat pies. We usually get feedback that one is too much, says Café Jærbuen owner Jette Bjorland.
– How many meatballs are we really talking about?
– He ate six meatballs, and they are not small.
Dominika Goszczyk’s attendant was surprised when Haaland suddenly stood inside the premises.
– He was like a completely normal customer. It was very nice and very nice. We also got a picture with him after he ate, she says.

Good enough to eat like a top athlete
But maybe he wouldn’t be such a stupid meatball for a man like Haaland. Because, according to Matias Maldando, who works with nutrition in the company Mat&Trening, the best athletes should eat enough.
For example, swimmer Michael Phelps ate 12,000 calories a day, says Maldando.
– Haaland is almost two meters tall, 23 years old and trains a lot. Then it is important to get plenty of nutrition, he tells him.
If you don’t, you may start to lose weight and lose muscle mass.

On Facebook, Kafé Jærbuen published a post in which they thanked Haaland for the visit. In addition, Haaland published a picture of their food on Instagram Stories, which Bjorland liked.
– It was nice that Erling visited us. It came just before closing time. The restaurant was full all day, says owner Jette Bjorland Jærbladet.
She told NRK that it was generous of Haaland to share the food with his 38 million followers.
– Erling does a great job for us who deal with traditional food and for the farmers, says Bjorland.
– Just the fact that he says he eats liver and sausage, which other people haven’t heard of, we think is really cool. We work to keep Norwegian traditions, she says.
