Worked in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and even abroad. I also got acting offers from a very young age. But I have not had any such experience. That is, my experience is good in this regard.’
Thanking God, Rukmini Maitra said, ‘But there are many women, their experiences are different. Many have had very bad experiences. Maybe I have a good experience with the same person, another has a bad experience. So it understands who it is with. Thank God, I didn’t encounter any such demons. But I can’t say that it doesn’t happen. But the people it happened to, it’s really bad.’

But this issue of sexual harassment is not only in the film industry but everywhere. The discussion may be about the film industry, but it exists in other sectors too, perhaps more horribly. Rather, we actors and actresses can write and talk about it on Facebook if something happens. And other people live here in fear that they will be in the news if they do something. But if someone from other sector writes, opens his mouth, his job will be lost. So I would say, if there is a protest on this issue, it should be in all areas, in all sectors.’
