I hope that the Days of Azerbaijani Culture will be held in Belarus this year.
General Director of the Belarusfilm film studio Yuri Alexey told Trend Life on Monday, Day.Az reports.
It should be noted that from the first to the fourth of April the Days of Culture of Belarus are held in Azerbaijan.
On April 1, the opening of the Days of Belarusian Cinema took place at the Nizami Cinema Center in Baku. “We brought four films for the Azerbaijani audience – two of them are feature films, and two are documentaries. We want to show our roots, traditions, and culture through cinema. I am sure that the Azerbaijani audience will be interested in this,” noted the general director of the Belarusfilm film studio. .
According to him, cooperation with the Azerbaijani side is envisaged. “We have had negotiations, and perhaps in the near future we will sign some agreements on joint work. Discussions are ongoing, we are making proposals,” said Yuri Alexey.
He noted that it is necessary to promote cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
Yuri Alexey also said that the Belarusian delegation was very impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of the city of Baku, and the friendliness of the people.
