A tragic incident has taken place in India where a man of a different religion was murdered by his brother Kaurava for marrying his sister for love.
Romantic marriage against parents
Nagaraj (age 30) hails from Billapuram in Rangareddy district of Telangana.
Azri Sultan, who hails from the Kana war area, said the two became friends while studying together in college and later fell in love.
The parents of Asri Sultan have come to know about this as they have been in love for the last 7 years.
Since Nagaraj belonged to a different religion, there was a protest in the house of Asri Sultan.
At one point, Azri Sultan, who had left home last January, grabbed Nagaraj.
He also changed his name to Pallavi.
Stabbed with a machete
Nagaraj quit his job and moved to Visakhapatnam with his wife.
Several months later he came back to Hyderabad with his wife.
He rented a house in Anilkumar Colony, Saroor Nagar, Punjab and went to work.
In this situation, the day before yesterday, Nagaraj was on his way home from work by bike on Corporation Road.
Nagraj was followed by his brother Asri Sultan and his friends who attacked Nagaraj on a bike. Nagaraj fell down from the bike with a head injury.
Following this, Nagaraj was stabbed by a barge and died on the spot.
Neighbors informed the police and Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner of Police Sridhar Reddy and police rushed to the spot and arrested Azri Sultan’s brother.
Later in his confession to the police, he said that despite our opposition, Nagarajan was killed because he was romantically married to a convert.
