The specialist stated that he wants to continue his career abroad:
“I know my strengths, I am confident that I will prove myself abroad and I want to try it. I want wider gates to open. I think everything is possible. The country does not matter. Let it be a club relegated to the first division, but good a proven team. We can take it even higher, to an even better level.”
Bagirov said that he prefers the option of working abroad, even if such an offer comes from a reputable club like Neftchi or the ambitious Sabah:
“On my father’s side, I am from Gedabay. Whatever we say, we stand behind it to the end. If there is an offer from the 1st division outside the country, I will go. I will represent Azerbaijan with dignity and open the way to take someone with me on the path to success. A player operating abroad means that at least 2 players are outside the country. It is the duty of each of us to represent Azerbaijan well.”
