Former Bi-Tri President Acknowledges End of Her Cycle
In 2024, a new chapter unfolded for The National as the leadership headed by Lucia Vallecilla could not be registered. The club was intervened by the FEF and after a regulatory process, Marco Pazos was elected president. This Tuesday, the former president acknowledged defeat and penned a heartfelt letter to bid farewell to the Nacho fans.
Vallecilla uploaded three documents to Nacho Corazón’s Facebook page, each bearing her signature. The texts were addressed to the club’s members and fans, sponsors, and the coaching staff and players.
Thus, the former president put an end to speculation about a potential legal battle to return to office at El Nacional. It’s worth noting that the Quito club still needs to raise approximately 400,000 dollars to finalize the registration of its squad and coaching staff.
