He narrated that when he found out about Gaytán’s murder he felt, first, “pain, then sadness and anger“an inability to not be able to do anything, we never believed that could happen.”

Ramírez Sánchez reported that he had proposed starting his campaign in one of the communities most affected by violence, but on the recommendation of his team he is going to wait until he has federal protection.
