I love math a lot, it makes me think and make independent decisions. This was stated for “24 Chasa Plovdiv” by Nikol Nikolova, a seventh-grader from MG “Acad. Kiril Popov”, who scored 100 points in her matriculation exam in her favorite subject and 99 in Bulgarian language and literature. It has the highest success in external evaluation in the Plovdiv region.
Nicole learned about her high grades in Nessebar, where she won the gold medal at the “Mathematics Without Borders” international tournament.
“I prepared for the matriculation exams on my own. I relied a lot on my mathematics teacher Mrs. Dimitrinka Ognyanova and Mrs. Bistra Ivanova, who taught me Bulgarian language and literature. I am very grateful to both of them,” said Nikol. She added that she loved mathematics from a young age and decided to study it in depth. She takes courses in competitive mathematics, which help her development.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys swimming and tennis. In the future, he wants to go deeper into computer science. The girl will continue to study at the Mathematics High School in Plovdiv. He plans to one day enroll in higher education at a university in the United States or in Great Britain, where the training was at a very high level.
