As Day.Az reports, young Georgian gymnast Kristina Plekhanovi, who is taking part in the competitions of the 8th Azerbaijan Open Championship and the Baku Open Trampoline Championship taking place at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex, told Trend on Friday.
“I came to Baku for the first time, I liked it here. Yesterday I won a gold medal in the individual program, today I also performed well in synchronized trampoline jumping. The championship left the most positive impressions. Unfortunately, I have not yet been to the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, I am dreaming visit it and compete there in the future,” she said.
According to the Georgian athlete, what she likes most about trampolining is the feeling of flight, the feeling of height.
It should be noted that the 8th Azerbaijan Open Championship and the Baku Open Trampoline Championship are being held at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex on February 15-16. Participants in the competition are 110 athletes representing the Ojag Sport club, the Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, as well as the national teams of Kazakhstan, Latvia, Slovenia, Georgia, and the Georgian sports clubs Shevardeni and Batumi.
