For many years, a friendly, complementary and, above all, peaceful coexistence was proposed. Our country is a nation with many cultures within it. Multicultural, pluricultural, intercultural, transcultural, postcultural etc. They are recurring concepts, defined by specialists to propose coexistence programs where this human wealth is earned. It is called the support of traditions, literally: millenary. Those fearful of entering violent scenarios were reassured by the example of Spain. There they lived in different autonomous communities constructively supporting local expressions: language, traditions, festivals, etc. Now, it’s a counter example. Indeed, the Spanish multicultural project is a nightmare due to an orgy of xenophobia driven by dark interests and financing.
If a person is in Barcelona and asks for a dish in Spanish; You must accept a risk. They make you wait and change your order. What happened? There was a misunderstanding, human error or distraction of the waiter. Did they run out of stew? Has a confusion happened when discovering the Spanish-American accent? Perhaps the intonation or courtesy words are wrong. The waiter hides and the captain of waiters does not approach despite calling him. Finally, he considers whether to go for a walk to find another dining room or accept what is served. After all, the food is tasty, although the wrong dish is always more expensive. The bill goes up quickly. It is an examination to damage the patrimony of the client considered strange. It has been unfortunate to be served by racists. They are not all, but many.
In Catalonia or Catalonia as you prefer, they are the majority. The aggression is not against Latin Americans, but also against other regions: Andalusia, Madrid and so on, in general. If you speak Spanish, you will suffer some aggression, at some point. The probability of it happening has increased, if it is used as a measurement, to the electoral consultation. The majority wants to break the cohesion of coexistence in the country known as Spain. True, the frightened voted and displaced the most radical. But, the winds have already been sown…

On the television of the Catalan autonomous government, they make fun of the Andalusians by making fun of the Virgen del Rocío. Spanish is prohibited at school, at the university, etc.
If the damage were only in that country, it would be overlooked. But they have undermined the political position of supporters of relegated cultural groups in various national territories. How many times, has not been demanded in our country, teaching in Mayan languages. The Peace Accords agreed to a Mayan university. Expression in the national languages is requested in the mass media, to strengthen coexistence. But, with the Spanish example, the opponents of granting preferential treatment to equalize historical differences, found arguments to oppose, alleging a danger to national unity. I hope that nightmare passes! For the meantime, it is an alert to recognize xenophobic positions. We must not give up affirming our desire for coexistence between different cultural expressions and never accept aggressive racism.
