Guest on “Verissimo” together with her mother Soraya, the showgirl retraced her battle, getting emotional several times together with the presenter Silvia Toffanin: «My mother supported me a lot, she was so close to me. When they gave me the news of the illness she was with me and Alessandro. She never let go of my hand. When her bones hurt, she spent hours and hours massaging me.”
A difficult period also for her mother, who has always supported Carolina: «When it comes to an illness that you can deal with yourself, it’s a walk in the park. But when a child is ill, the situation is different. I also had a tumor, but I hadn’t told him. Carolina found out when she heard her sister talking about her on the phone. At that point we faced it together.” A complicated path, however overcome by both: «I hit rock bottom several times. I feel like a miracle worker. In these cases, family support is very important. It’s a beautiful time in my life. It’s nice to tell, I’m alive. Life is even more beautiful than before. I learned to be happy in the moment. I am happy now, not in the future and not in the past. This is why I enjoy everything”, said Carolina Marconi.
