Sarath Kamal from Tamil Nadu has won the Senior Table Tennis Championship in Meghalaya.
Tamil Nadu players Sarath Kamal and Sathyan Gnanasekaran clashed in the men’s singles table tennis tournament in Shillong.
Sarath Kamal defeated Sathyan Gnanasekara 4-3 in a thrilling match to win the series for the 10th time.
Speaking after the match, he said the victory was dedicated to Vishwa Deenadayalan, a young table tennis player who recently died in an accident.
Vishwa Deenadayalan (18) from Tamil Nadu was killed in a car accident. It is noteworthy that various political leaders, including Seeman, the chief coordinator of the Naam Tamil Party, mourned his death.
