Depressed, Shama also attempted suicide. Referring to this information, he said, ‘I was feeling uncomfortable and stopped going out. I also stopped going to social events. I became depressed and even attempted suicide. Luckily my parents saved me.’
43-year-old Shama has few friends. His friends were not with him in times of trouble. Because he had lost interest in communicating with anyone. However, some of Shamar’s friends feel guilty after learning about Shamar’s mental health.
Shama Sikandar said, ‘I do not blame them (friends). When you don’t want to talk to anyone or you don’t want to leave your house, how much can someone else persuade you?’
Shama Sikander will return to the role. But do not want to work in TV serials. Because he is not interested in working for a long time. In this regard, Shama Sikandar said, ‘I like OTT projects. As much as I love acting, I also love myself and my family. I don’t want to repeat the same mistake. I want to enjoy my work and life. Professional life also has limitations. I am not in favor of working on Sunday (holiday). Anant wants to spend one day a week with loved ones and cherish those moments. It is not possible to work on TV. So I don’t want to return to TV.’
Shama Sikandar was born in Rajasthan. However, when he was 10, the whole family moved to Mumbai. In 2003, Shama gained popularity by playing the role of Pooja in Sony Television’s ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’ TV series. In 1998, he acted in a small role in a Bollywood movie titled ‘Prem Aagan’. Bollywood movie ‘Maan’ was released in 1999. Aamir Khan was his co-star in this movie.
Shama’s latest released movie is ‘Bypass Road’. It was released in 2019. The actress was not seen in any movie or web series after that.
