The Aussies won the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. With this, the Aussie team has a chance not to lose the title in the series with one match remaining.
In the third Test, the Aussies were able to bowl out the Indian team for 109 runs in the first innings. Australia, who batted in reply, had to end the first innings with a small score of 197.
Then the Aussies’ victory was easy as the Indian team, who needed a huge score in the second innings to bring the match to a draw, were bowled out for just 163 runs. Set out with a winning target of 76 runs, Australia overcame the target by just one wicket and secured a crucial victory in the series.
The Aussies won the third Test thanks to Travis Head’s unbeaten 49 and Marnus Labusheng’s unbeaten 28.
But now former Indian player Gautam Gambhir has come out praising KL Rahul who was excluded from the third match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to his poor form.

Meanwhile, the fourth match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy will start on March 9. India have any chance of playing the final of the World Test Championship only if they win the match.
