In front of the parking lot of the Maurice-Thorez city in L’Ile-Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) this Saturday noon, residents cannot take their eyes off their building. Some are in tears. They do not yet know that three people lost their lives in the fire of this 12-storey tower, which dominates the Seine, rue de la Commune-de-Paris, housing 50 housing units managed by the social landlord Seine-Saint-Denis Habitat.
