England fast bowler Jobra Archer has been sidelined for the past few months due to injury
He said he feared he would miss out on playing cricket after the injury.
Jobra Archer said: –
My first surgery was in May last year due to an elbow injury. After that I participated in the tournament hoping to play cricket. But it was only when I was bowling that I realized that treatment was not working. I immediately walked out of the match. The second operation since then took place last December.
I am just recovering. At one point I wondered if I could play cricket. I feared that my contract would be canceled and that I would not be able to play cricket anymore. I am confident now that the England Cricket Board has given me confidence.
