The singer and composer, Liraz Russo, recently went through a number of events that shook his life. Last summer he parted ways with his musical duo, Ben El Tabori. The duo disbanded after 7 years of activity in which they created Israel’s biggest hits in recent years.
In the personal sphere, Russo divorced his wife, Sarit Polak, after a year of marriage. The separation began with Russo leaving their shared home and last month they announced that they were divorced.
Sarit Polak: “We had a beautiful love and moments we will cherish”
Polk wrote on her Instagram page: “I’ll start from the end and go back to the beginning. Yes, we broke up. Yes, we divorced. 6 years. We had a beautiful love and moments when we would be besieged. We knew how to be there for each other and we still know how to accommodate, care for, forgive. We were two children with dreams Big and even when the road was a little complicated, our friendship won everything, and that’s how it will stay.”
Static: “I was reborn, as a person and as an artist”
Last month Static addressed the crises in his life and wrote a chilling story: “Going through a difficult time, see you in the next incarnation.” Today (Wednesday) he launches his first personal album bearing his original name: “Liraz”: “It’s time to share a little with you.” Statik wrote on his Instagram page, “I am going through a very intense process to bring you a static that you didn’t know. I was reborn, as a person and as an artist, as Liraz and Static. Here is the cover for my first album – Liraz. Until next time – I’m back to work.”
Russo worked on the album in a villa he bought in Caesarea for the project. After about a month of work, he shared with his followers that he was leaving the place: “They are dismantling the place that was our home for the last month. How much we have been through. Soon you will hear everything!”
