I tend to be very pragmatic about most things in my life. Very skeptical I would say. Maybe that’s why I still haven’t achieved the success I expected to have when I was still young thinking about the current moment. Such skepticism perhaps prevented me from taking some risks and having to live with the anguish of indecision.

Today it seems not to have been a good choice, but the “coherence” is commendable once again. The new, with new ideas, was soon swallowed by the locker room which, let’s face it, should have been the first to be imploded.
Therefore, the first effective action of the board was to take a shower, it is true, but without changing clothes.
In April or May of that year, they brought a coach with a passage here and who stayed in the almost, a good guy – there is no doubt about it, but an amorphous of the profession. He didn’t win anything as such and he doesn’t even look like he will. End by leaps and bounds and a meager campaign. Before that, they exchanged the executive for another disputed in Santa Catarina football – which they say still support our biggest rival. As a technician, they tried a Portuguese who preferred his rich cousin and hit another Uruguayan who showed nothing (and went down in his career just like the first coach of the management).

Then came the current year and Mano’s team unlearned; the coach himself doesn’t know what else to do. He is clear in his own discouraged manifestations.
We arrived in May once again needing a new coach, in a fate that seems to be a hallmark of the current management: at the end of the regional championship, there is little or almost nothing to show for work; in addition to not winning the title itself – lost to bad or mediocre teams.
And I was deceived because not only did I believe that things could be different and that the idea was really to implement efficient and competent management of the Club and, mainly, of football. I “campaigned” in a way. I first convinced known members to vote, then to vote for those who are now in charge. I believed that the processes, when modernized, would put us in another direction; however, what I see are weak and lost leaders who, because they are much smaller than the coach, are now hostages of a job that collapses with each new match.
By the way, it is sad to have to admit that the work of Miguel Angel, Cacique and Mano are very similar. The first still enchanted us in some matches. The last thing he got in that regard was something random last season. Besides, the first months of the last two seasons are very similar: very poor football. However, in this I think Mano loses. With Cacique, we still had an undeniable performance, which also gave us a victory in the classic. Afterwards, it seems that courage was not lacking. Now, we don’t even have that anymore.
The truths of football are often relentless. They are being demonstrated day after day, in that old maxim of “nothing like one day after another”. Or one season after another, as in this case. And when the mistakes keep repeating themselves and getting worse, without the actors fulfilling their roles (and we lack command – a lot), I start to think that those who direct us don’t even know the reason why they won or that they even had a plan to achieve something other than the supposed “surplus glory”.
As if that in history could ever be an effective title to celebrate. The truth is that a football team lives on football and there is no glory that can remove our core activity from the process.
